Access to his room, the Netherspace, is granted after the Chess Event encounter. It is a dead-end room located through a secret entrance behind a mysterious bookcase.
It encompasses twelve boss encounters, some scripted with different possibilities per week from 22 different NPCs. These four must be defeated in order, but all other bosses are optional.

It is located in the library, after the Curator and before the Shade of Aran. To get to Terestian, find the suspicious bookshelf and open it to reveal a secret tunnel. Terestian is located at the bottom of the tunnel along with his little friend, Kil'rek. This causes the player to be incapacitated and puts a dot on the player. The binding can be targetted and damaged. This binding is therefore a priority for the entire raid when someone is being sacrificed. The binding seems to drain health from the player to Terestian but I am not completely sure about this.
It is possible to Divine Shield out of this debuff and therefore it should be possible to Ice Block out of it as well. Kil'rek - Kil'rek is Terestian's little imp buddy. Just ignore it. Mark of Flames - This undispellable debuff makes the target take more fire damage. If this lands on a target that is being fireball volleyed by the infinite imps, it can cause them to fall over very quickly.
Infinite Imps - Terestian will constantly summon imps during the fight - about one every half second. They deal light to moderate damage and have around k health.
Our raid just waited until there was 8 or more of these imps before we AoEed all of them. We had to AoE phases during the course of the fight. It is also conceivable that you can put two dpsers on these imps full time but we didn't try that. The important thing in this fight is deciding when to switch to killing the imps. Not often enough and the imp will overwhelm the raid. Comment by He's been buffed today and is now pretty angry. No more first try.
Hit points have doubled. Imp damage increased. Mark of flame damage doubled Sacrifice damage increased by three times, impossible for one healer to heal. Sacrifice shackles now have three times more hit points. Imp buddy buffs illhoof and needs to be nuked over and over respawns after 30 seconds or so. You might also consider taking down imps constantly one by one with melees now. Comment by We got him now.
Have your mages buff dampen magic except mt. Have a warlock spam seed of corruption on the imp pet, you won't need bombing at all. Nuking them down as quickly as possible with burst dmg is the key to this fight, its much like jindo's totems, just faster and more evil. Comment by He's very challenging in his new incarnation. The biggest problems are probably dps on the chains and uncoordinated AE. Have your Mage tell your lock when to begin seeding, then have your lock tell your Mage when to AE when he has up.
Neither should take damage, ideally. Having decent-to-high FR on your Warlock is also helpful. With chains all dpsers should stop their cast when they see him casting Sacrifice so's not the be hampered by the GCD. Rogues save energy etc. Everyone hits it hard and fast shocks, sw: death, etc etc. He'll probably die at some point anyway from the AE but he's just a distraction. Have something VW, hunter pet tank him. Comment by SilverKnight Without doubt Terestian Illhoof's most dangerous ability is his Chains of Sacrifice, which quickly kill a player and simultaneously heal Illhoof himself.
As soon as the chains hit, all DPS needs to instantly switch. Don't finish casting your fireball first: switch. If the whole raid can reliably DPS the chains down as quickly as possible, the rest of the fight will fall into place without too much trouble. Comment by Russta To go along with Paladins and Mages being able to bubble and block out of sacrifice, if a Rogue notices Illhoof's target change to him meaning he's about to be the chosen one , he can vanish out before it lands.
This is very tricky to pull off and shouldn't be relied upon as it requires your global cooldown and immense concentration but it IS possible. Comment by Rizzu it would work if you could use potions while stunned ;D, however because it is, you're virtually helpless unless you can break it with a bubble or a iceblock. Have the pally give the warlock concentration aura, and the warlock hellfires everything.
Having a dedicated healer same pally with blessing of light would be good. This way the imps get taken out, and the bindings as well. She holds aggro and it works well. Last night we had a healy Priest and a Resto Druid me for the sacrifices.
I dunno what the Priest used. If you keep people clear of the Green Glyph on the floor, you can quite easily see and heal whoever gets Sacrificed. Try and make sure everyone is on max hp just before the sacrifice, too bandages wont work since most people just get interrupted by imps or what not. Have a warlock with FR gear stand near Illhoof where the imps spawn and spam hellfire.
All of the DPS should focus on Kil'rek to weaken Illhoof and switch to the Demon Chains when they pop up so the sacrificed person doesn't die.
When the imp dies, Illhoof gets his debuff where he takes more damage focus fire on him unless Demon Chains come up. They always have priority over everything, DPS-wise. Just repeat this the whole fight. It's healing intensive, but if everyone focuses on what they're supposed to be doing, it's easy. Also, make sure even the tank turn and attack the chains when they come up.
The faster the chains die the better. Good luck to everyone.
