Debugging options provide ways to configure on-device debugging, and to establish communication between the device and your development computer. The Wait for Debugger option is unavailable until you use Select debug app to select the app to debug. If you enable Wait for Debugger , the selected app waits for the debugger to attach before it executes. Addiitonally, to fine-tune the audio playback on the device, tap and set the following options:.
Wireless display certification : Enables advanced configuration controls and settings for Wireless Display certification to the specifications set forth in the Wi-Fi Alliance Wi-Fi Display Specification. The certification applies to Android 4. For more information about logs, see Write and view logs with Logcat.
Aggressive Wi-Fi to cellular handover: When the signal is low, makes Wi-Fi more efficient in handing over the data connection to a cellular network. Input Figure 6. Pointer location. Enable Show taps to display taps when you touch the screen. A circle appears under your finger or stylus and follows you as you move around the screen. A tap works like a pointer when you Record a video on your device.
Enable Pointer Location to show the pointer tap location on the device with cross-hairs. A bar appears across the top of the screen to track the cross-hair coordinates figure 6. As you move the pointer, the coordinates in the bar track the cross-hair location and the pointer path draws on the screen. Enable Show Layout Bounds to show your app's clip bounds, margins, and other user interface constructions on the device, as shown in figure 7.
Hardware accelerated rendering options provide ways to optimize your app for its target hardware platforms by leveraging hardware-based options such as the GPU, hardware layers, and multisample anti-aliasing MSAA.
Tap Simulate color space to change the color scheme of the entire device UI. The options refer to types of color blindness. Choices are Disabled no simulated color scheme , Monochromacy black, white, and gray , Deuteranomaly red-green , Protanomaly red-green , and Tritanomaly blue-yellow. Protanomaly refers to red-green color blindness with weakness in red colors, and Deuteranomaly shown in figure 8 refers to red-green color blindness with weakness in green colors.
Building Morrowind inside Skyrim has involved some compromises, however, and the Skywind team breaks down which systems will be recreated on its website. Skywind will include Skyrim's quest markers and fast travel, for example, but the team hopes to make those options configurable. As in Morrowind, Skywind will let you kill essential characters unlike Skyrim. The team is attempting to recreate a version of Morrowind's custom spell system too.
Beyond Skyrim isn't actually a single mod. It's a collaboration between several different modding teams, each building different Tamriel provinces as Skyrim mods.
The effort to create all of Tamriel inside a single game has its roots back before Skyrim itself even launched, so Beyond Skyrim has actually been around as long as the game itself.
It differs from projects like Skywind and Skyblivion because it isn't actually attempting to recreate another game inside Skyrim. So far, the team working on creating Cyrodiil has released the Beyond Skyrim: Bruma mod, which adds the snowy city you'll remember from Oblivion, with tons of characters and quests to find there.
You can find information on all the other provinces being developed on Beyond Skyrim's website. If you want to co-op through your Nord adventures with friends, Skyrim Together is one to keep an eye on.
It's envisioned as a fully co-op Skyrim for two to eight players. As you can imagine, getting Bethesda's RPG to play nicely on a server is no easy feat, so Skyrim Together isn't exactly a stable experience just yet.
Skyrim Together doesn't have a full release yet, but you can try out an older, less stable version if you're dedicated. By default, it will only charge your device and you have to select a data transfer mode each time, which becomes tedious if you connect often. For maximum security, though, you should leave this alone.
By default, absolute volume is enabled on Android, which means that the volume buttons on your phone and your Bluetooth device both control the same volume level.
Generally, this is convenient, but it can cause problems with some Bluetooth devices. Turning absolute volume off enabling this slider means that your phone volume and the Bluetooth device will use two separate volume levels.
Try doing so if your Bluetooth device's volume doesn't work properly with your phone, or is extremely loud or quiet. You can set your Bluetooth device's volume to an acceptable level, then use your phone's volume buttons for fine-tune adjustments.
You may need disconnect and reconnect any Bluetooth devices, or even reboot your phone, for absolute volume changes to take effect. This pair of options lets you see more about what you're touching on your phone. When Show Taps is enabled, a small circle appears on the screen wherever your finger touches.
This can be useful in two situations. The first is for accessibility—those who have difficulty with precise motion might appreciate having feedback of where they're touching. Having these circles is also useful if you're creating a screencast from your phone, such as a tutorial. They let viewers see exactly where you're touching. For more touch data, try enabling Pointer location. This will show lines on the screen representing where you've touched, along with data about your inputs at the very top of the display.
This could be useful if you're testing to see whether a part of your screen is broken. Depending on how fast your phone is, you might not notice them, but Android plays animations when opening or switching between apps. Using the Window animation scale , Transition animation scale , and Animator duration scale , you can adjust how long these transitions take. Try setting these at. However, depending on how speedy your device is, these animations might act to mask some hidden loading times when switching between apps.
Thus, it might be best to change them back to normal if your phone seems clunky after speeding them up. Android 10 introduced a system-wide dark mode. Enabling this slider makes all apps use a dark mode, which is nice if you hate light modes, but results will vary.
For example, some apps still use light elements, or have text that's hard to read on a dark background. Give it a try and see what your favorite apps look like. And in the meantime, don't forget to use the best Android dark mode apps that have the feature natively. We include this Developer option as an educational example. When you enable this option, Android will destroy every app's process as soon as you leave it.
Developers can use this to test how their app behaves under different circumstances, and we can use it to see how awful Android task killers are. Task killers destroy processes running in the background—processes that Android keeps alive to make sure you can switch back to other apps quickly. See also: List of Dead Island Mods. Edit This Mod. It is found under a flight of stairs in the supermarket where you have to kill Punks.
After that, a pile of skulls is in the sewer right after that quest. When you come to a part where the water is green and radioactive, there is a ladder on the right. Upstairs in the room is its drop point.
